Oracol Xor Linux wallet

For the build environment, we recommend Ubuntu version 16. We also recommend 4 GB of RAM. The easiest way is to spin up a virtual machine with the recommended settings.

For the actual compilation, do the following (all commands are in a terminal):
Step 1: Install dependencies

Code: Select all

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install ntp unzip git build-essential libssl-dev libdb-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libqrencode-dev miniupnpc libminiupnpc-dev
Step 2: Download Oracol Xor source code

Code: Select all

git clone https://github.com/OracolXor/Oracol-XOR-Coin.git
Step 3: Compile level db

Code: Select all

cd Oracol-XOR-Coin/src/leveldb
chmod +x build_detect_platform
make clean
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a
Step 4: Compile the daemon

Code: Select all

cd ..
make -f makefile.unix clean
make STATIC=1 -f makefile.unix oracold
Step 5: Remove debugging symbols

Code: Select all

strip oracold
Step 6: Copy the daemon to your /bin directory:

Code: Select all

sudo cp oracold /usr/bin
Step 7: Run the daemon

Code: Select all

oracold --daemon
At the first run, the oracol.conf file is created. Optionally, stop the daemon and make the necessary settings in oracol.conf, then restart the daemon.
